Eventually I passed out and had the sensation of falling downwards in a spiral, and as I fell i saw my whole life played out before me, like I was living my whole life again but compressed into a few moments.

I then found myself standing in a dark, empty place. It was too dark to see anything, but I sensed there were 'others' moving about around me. In the distance I could hear some kind of music, like a beautiful drone.

Then I saw a light off into the distance (but no tunnel). I'm not religious and had no intention of going towards the light because in my mind I didn't want to accept the possibility that I was dead, but as tried to move away from the light, the light seemed to be chasing me!

The light caught me, and I found myself in another place. There were people and buildings there that I can still remember. But the darkness hadn't completely disappeared - it was like a curtain that was slowly drawing back, and just as the last slither of darkness was going
