about

When I joined Ethan and his "dead horse" band, he promptly changed it to Samsara, we assume because it sounded more intelligent and he wanted very much to be taken seriously as a lyricist. I left the band before we could play a show but the next band "the worthy apes" did... ;-)

lyrics

SAMSARA (I hope to be rich by the end of this song)

Oooh oooh oooh
Oooh oooh oooh

I tried to make this
thing. I tried to make it good.
I tried to do these things- the way I thought I should.

I tried to make this thing
I tried to do these things the way I thought I should
I tried to make these things
I tried to make

this aint no hallmark
this aint no shoebox
this aint no foolin around

this aint no hallmark
this aint no shoebox
this aint no foolin around

uh uh uh
anytime you go to school
you don't learn anything
you don't already know
close your eyes its gets worse
(close your eyes it's gonna get worse)
there will be more blood
on you

anything
anything anything
anything anything
anything whoa-oh
anything whoa-oh-whoa-oh
anything at all anything
anything you want is at your feet

Since I've been born i'VE had this voice,
telling me to do what I know now is wrong
since I've been born i've made the choice
to diverge from the norm

i'm a chiorboy with an ashtray heart
(telling me to do what I know now is wrong)
looking for my brand new start
i'm a chiorboy with an ashtray heart
looking for a brand new start
I'm a chiorboy
ashtray heart
looking for
a brand new
start

i'll try to do things
the way I think I should.

I'm just a kid
in a grown up shell
I'm just a man
in an upside down well. Up and up and away I go. I don't drown I prosper well.
so
it's up up up and away I go.
up up up and away i go
up up up and away i go

(Hope to be rich by the end of this song.)
